Hi Mike I was just about to post a message as I was browsing and saw deju vu. Feel like trying to glue angle may make things look better. But to the point. Firstly I have a polo 1.4 with BBY engine with almost the same pattern. 17550 load registration (P1142) 19761 sensor attitude, intake manifold unlikely ratio P1553. Have also had 17564 manifold pressure sensor (P1156) open circuit/short to ground. Since change MAP sensor back to 17550 load limit exceeded (P1142) and listed as intermitant. It has on one occasion cut whilst driving slow refusing to restart, the driver was then recovered back to the garage and yes you've guessed it - recovery driver started it and drove it in, warning lights going out. Pattern of covered mileage inbetween faults occurring similar to yours but not quite as much. Any help on this welcome as the driver, a young lady, won't drive it now and has moved back to her mums (closer to work). |
