Renault Meganne 1.6 16V 02 plate Sirrus 32M. Archived Message

Initially no spark on 1/4. Repaired by BBA and seemed to work fine when refitted. with new coils

However shortly after it began to exhibit problems,

1)It would appear that the supply to injectors/O2 sensor heaters briefly cuts out every now and then causing “Lurching” This is difficult to reproduce but seems to occur more readily under “Snap” throttle conditions

2)The MAP sensor supply voltage is only 2.2 volts (Live data reads 750mB)

3)Live data on O2 reads 2V (Intermittent) but actual measurement reveals locked at 0.9V

“Interrogation” of customer suggests that these symptoms may have been present before the coil driver issue became apparent (But with it only running on two cylinders I never noticed that there were other problems when I first saw the car)

Firstly I need a wiring diagram for the Engine management. Autodata appears to consider that 02 plate megannes are sufficiently rare/reliable beasts that this sort of information is unnecessary to the trade!

( Either that or they believe that owners of 7 year old cars are far more concerned about whether or not the air con works than they are about actually being able to drive anywhere!)

It would also be helpful if anybody has had similar issues and managed to resolve them. But initially some accurate information would be of assistance.

    Cheers
