Riiiight! Rear lambda appears to be faulty (vehicle runs better with it disconnected and MIL stays unlit, before I would get MIL on and very lumpy/rich running) I have not yet replaced it since I am reluctant to throw any more money at this untill the other issues are resolved. However. I get occasional cutting, typically on sharp acceleartion from low speeds (roundabouts, pulling out of junctions etc) What is happening is that the relay feeding the injectors is cutting out momentarrily. this is not a relay fault. the loss of drive signal is measurable at the ECU (The ECU earths the relay coil. when the cutting occurs I get a momentary 12 on an otherwise 0 volt line) Now! what might be causing this?? The ECU is a re-man from BBA and otherwise seems to be working fine. It would be usefull to know (Small chance!) how the relay wire is ultimatly earthed back to the battery! an internal wiring schematic/diagram for the cirrus 32 would be very usefull in determining whether this is an ECU issue of a wiring earth one!! (I have wiggled/tugged all the wires I can find without being able to reproduce the fault) The fault only occurs on snap throttle from low/no speed. It is fine under cruise conditions. Any sugestions (Other than running shoes!)!
