I acknowledge that i have fitted an aftermarket cat and o2 sensors, however forgive me for appearing dim but this is the result not the cause! Even if my closed loop system becomes unregulated by either a faulty sensor or an exhausted cat then my co levels should still not reach in excess of 4.5% - or am i wrong? What i am still trying to ascertain is the root cause of not only this cat failure but the original one! Surely peaking co at electrical load times - eg cooling fan cycle is more likely to have something to do with the result?
