Hi Andy. Have you checked the injector needle lift sensor, ?? We have done several of these that have just had a faulty connection in the plug or the wires that have rubbed and shorted out. We have also changed a few injectors for being open circuit. ( And yes it does affect the Rev counter.) It should also normally log a fault code for needle lift sensor. ?? but depending on which scanner is used, various descriptions could show up.
