    Hi All,
    Have trawled archives on this. Have to say I have little diesel experience, but as ever am always willing to learn. Power is allegedly lost with EML on after hardish driving though it wouldn't happen for me. Switching off then on clears it for a bit, so assume it's going into 'limp'. Code P1557-Charge pressure control, positive deviation logged, but clears OK. Have read with interest Paul Gunstone's trials with an AWX engine on a Passat (I think...) and it turned out to be the boost pressure sensor intermittently giving too high a reading (manifested when wires to it wobbled). Does anyone know if this is relevant for this engine, or have any idea where I should direct my attentions when I go back? Is the boost pressure sensor also known as a MAP?
