    Unfortunately, despite several long test runs, the car returned a week later with the same problem!!

    Decided that the only other thing to do was replace the main ECU on top of the engine. Had to get the dealer to fit and code this up. The unit is not cheap at £500+

    The vehicle was definetly fine after this, with again lots of miles put on it and generally well tested.

    Guess what, vehicle came back a week later. Now it intermittently cuts out and logs a DTC for spill valve. Hence my other post about the pump EDUs on these. All dodgy joints resoldered and vehicle behaving itself again. Another day of testing before it hopefully gets returned for good.
