    With the ford zetec I have for years regapped plugs to 1mm as we had so many problems with leads breaking down and tracking down plugs.

    There were also several cases of coil failure with an occasional ecu failure caused by ht going back to ecu.

    All caused by huge firing voltages.

    As per ngk versus bosch.

    I must agree with Tony I have had so many occassions where a car fails to start cold due to flooding only to be cured by fitting bosch plugs.

    If an engine is at all oily or runs a bit rich cold or compression is down a bit don't waste time with ngk.
