Renault Clio 1.2 2001 - Any companies that can bypass immobiliser? #

Engine Size and Code *: 1200

Hi all

Does anyone know of any companies that can bypass
immo on above car.

The aerial is located at rear of car so cannot use peps module. Customer as usual does not want to spend much money on it.

Before Trying to Bypass the immobiliser, Do you know what is wrong with it.??

i,e if the problem is the key, Transponder ariel or UCH then you might be able to get the ecu made free running, But if the problem is a faulty ecu or faulty wiring / relays to the ecu then bypassing the immobiliser wouldn't be of much use.

And Yes, The Customer always thinks its a good Idea to just take the immobiliser off as they think that its the cheapest option and it cured their mk 3 Escort that way.

We would spend 1-2 hours checking it over and most likely repair the car rather than trying to bypass anything.

The only thing that would cause us any major problem would be a faulty ecu, The other stuff would be relatively easy to replace. ( keys, UCH, Transponder ariel, wiring , relays etc.

These cars used to be a headache for us but they are usually fairly straight forward to repair now. ( Except the ones with throttle body problems )

P.S Whats happening to the immo LED with the ignition on, is it Stopping on, going out or flashing rapidly.

So you have to do a cheap job !! Do it right and charge the right amount.

And if you do a by-pass he/she will of course inform his insurers no immo and get an after market one fitted (eerr NO)

hi all,customer would not spend any money on it struggled to get a call out fee let alone futher diagnostic work.car is not worth agreat deal and its due an mot.
does anyone know where a can purchase a magic wand.

Still the best value bit of kit for the money!! it has made me a lot of VERY fast money. it removes the immob code and programes the key in seconds.

a must with so many renualt old and new keys failing.

I agree with Sean, i bought the basic package as i got a little to carried away without really knowing the whole story of how Renault key cards and aftermarket key cards differ.

Rather than have the embarrassment i decided to buy the kit just so i didn't waste money on a card or let customer down.

Glad i did as i've already used it 3 times and its well over half paid for its self.
