Well, I'm of the opinion that Corbyn was a good Constituency MP with some principled views. Unfortunately he chose to stand for the leadership and somewhat more unfortunately won. In that position his principles on a very personal basis did take a massive downturn: he seemed utterly incapable or indeed unwilling to protect his natural allies from being picked off one by one...and thus was the architect of his own and indeed the Labour party's own destruction.
Craven & Poltroon would seem apt in the absence of any real excuse for Corbyn's utter inertia when in the Labour leadership role.
