Not quite as I see it, It may be a simplification of what is going on, ... and perhaps it just may not be the totality of left thinking, but in essence it is anti-war, and I like it .

Remember that in Germany, according to Minister Baerbock "we don't care what the people think, we will always fight Russia and support Ukraine".
It's because they are defending democracy, you see. That's why what the people think doesn't matter.

In addition, I hope one has noticed that any opposition to centrist liberalism (fascism) is termed as right-wing or occasionally as hard-right left (eyes roll). I dip my toes here as an anti-war maverick.
