He's (MT) being unbelievably disingenuous when he's asked about the Adelson donation and its possible effects and he says (paraphrased) "This time round donations didn't matter as much so maybe they won't be so beholden to donors, whether its Adelson or Musk". He knows that's horse shit and he's deliberately not giving the real answer as it casts shade on Trump.

I liked him on the media part of it but he danced around the "Will there be more revenge?" question too.

And then his (Trump's) "..power base has nothing to do with corporate money" comment when he's been backed with at least tens of millions, and reportedly 100s of millions, of dollars from Schwartzman and the rest is another example of being economical with the truth. Maybe the old insitutions weren't shovelling loot to him but the new ones sure as shit were.
