Overall I am probably more charitable than you, although I agree that he downplayed Trumps donors a lot. It seems that his emphasis was more on Trumps voter base being more significant.

MT has covered a number of elections in the past, so I expect he'll be coming up with an article or two which may be more coherent than this interview. Let's wait and see.
