I realize wikipedia didn’t essentially exist in 2003, but the internet did exist, and it beggars belief, given the info on that wiki page, that this pipeline was not pretty well known. It was certainly known to the locals.

So he is a total fucking idiot. The Iraq invasion was an unmitigated disaster in which the shit truly floated to the top and are now making money writing books about their incompetence. I partially attribute comparable idiocy (or late-blooming wisdom shall we say) to Wilkerson, who I have little time for, but who this oil guy seems to be a big fan of.
