It seems that a lot of people have just instantly swallowed everything she claims (I don't watch her content at source so I can't say how much of it she actually provides receipts for but from what I've seen second-hand it isn't a lot) just because it aligns with their feelings about the Kirk thing.

I always though her claim about being threatened by the French government was absurd (although in her telling "someone" tipped her off rather than the some French spook giving her the "nice podcast you have here; best to enjoy it alive" speech.
