I find it astonishing and frankly admirable that an Irish toff from a military family who worked for 30 years with MI6 has come to have such a principled and rational perception of geopolitical issues.

I've noticed a few times when he seems to have a blind spot even now to certain things that you just know he has to know about. Guess it really is true there's no such thing as an "ex" spook.

Having said that, a lot of it does seem to be him not going along with Candace Owens and her various theories so it might just be noses getting put out of joint by someone not being in their in-crowd although he does seem to swerve into a more general "people always want to see a conspiracy" type of dimissal which is sure to get people annoyed given his past career.

It seems that a lot of people have just instantly swallowed everything she claims (I don't watch her content at source so I can't say how much of it she actually provides receipts for but from what I've seen second-hand it isn't a lot) just because it aligns with their feelings about the Kirk thing.

I always though her claim about being threatened by the French government was absurd (although in her telling "someone" tipped her off rather than the some French spook giving her the "nice podcast you have here; best to enjoy it alive" speech.

Always a bit confused why she was such good friends with Kirk and said she loved him, in the light of his overt bigot and racist.

I think she's just "seen a lane" and knows that it will be profitable, just as she always has. I notice she's not trying very hard to get that debate with TPUSA sorted. Much better to keep pushing "this is weird" content and getting clicks rather than having the claims examined.

I find it being a boring conspiratorial speculation with approximately zero evidence, especially the cr@p about her being targeted by DGSE (eyes roll). Pits.
