"It would not do" to mention The possibility of 4 billion dead by 2050. It might panic the population into action against the fossil fuel interests. The dictionary needs an antonym for hysteria, a word meaning insane composure and calm. The tranquillity with which our media report climate warnings will amaze future historians, if there are future historians
