My goodness, dtj, you really are all over the place on this one, aren't you? Instead of straightforwardly answering my question you avoid it and rabbit on instead about not liking referendums. Huh? Then you say you want more democracy and in theory more referendums. Double Huh?? Then you want to dump democracy altogether and embark on some kind of People's Vote dictatorship (whatever that means). Well, now I get it -- you have opinions, and if they don't add up to anything and can't be defended, you have other opinions in the cupboard, ready to be unpacked whenever anyone asks you about the current set of opinions. Don't answer any questions or debate anything; just bung another lot of opinions into the mix. And I was waiting (with unbated breath) for some reference to your family's illustrious role at the heart of European history and Western democracy, and lo and behold, I didn't have long to wait.
