    Skunk is just one strain of cannabis among many 'high strength' strains, as you know - it's just not a particularly strong one, and is an archaic term (nearly noone sells pure 'skunk' strains these days). The term is just a british colloquialism dating from the 90s for strong cannabis, which means nothing in other countries (except for being one of the strains).

    As for ratios, there are ancient breeds that have high thc ratios and the ratios vary among the different 'natural' strains - i don't buy the idea that breeding for thc strength makes the strains fundamentally different - all strains are the result of breeding for some purpose; and indica strains are generally high thc due to breeding from centuries ago. There's a simple answer if it's too strong: put less in (like spirits).
