Whilst his focus on the obvious flaws linked to the current EU system is... reasonable, up to a point, it's the alternatives to EU membership that he falls down on, big time. The fantasy that leaving the EU, in the current circumstances, will bring the UK closer to 'socialism', is, I think, stunningly misguided to a degree that almost beggars belief. Galloway seems to hold this bizarre position as well, minus any, a shred of evidence to support his belief, his faith. The Greeks ####ed their own economy up by decades of following the wrong economic policies and borrowing and borrowing more and more from German banks. I live in the richest and most successful nation in the EU. Our economy looks nothing like the Greek economy. This means that it's perfectly feasable for an economy to thrive and grow within the EU, but the economic fundamentals have to be there too. Blaming the EU is just too easy and too wrong.
