"you appear to think it’s democratic to ignore the last result because it didn’t go your way.." You obviously haven't read what I said. The vote was on a principle. Another vote on how the government actualy intends to put that principle into effect: Mays arrangement, Norway arrangement, No arrangement at all, isn't being anti democratic but quite the opposite. Exactly how the government translates that actual principle into reality effects a lot of people's livelihoods and will effect all of us in a big way. More democracy please: not less. you merrily insult those with whom you disagree I don't think I have insulted anyone here. ... seeking as you do to dehumanise leave voters with the appalling appellation: ‘gammon’. I see. Actually I haven't called anyone here a gammon, but what exactly is "appalling" about the term? I reckon its quite appropriate for the puff-faced white middle aged apoplectic UKIPers given free platforms to spittle-fleck the rest of the Question Time audience. Indeed a part of the splendours of England they purport to extol is the very the tradition of social satire and if its good enough for Charles Dickens to use then I'm quite happy to continue a great English tradition.
