BBC world affairs editor John Simpson also confirmed that he wouldn't be visiting hotels owned by the group.... Stephen Fry and Ellen DeGeneres also spoke out... etcetera I suppose they still take tea in the many hotels owned by Saudi money, despite the Yemen war? Liberal virtue signalling by 'celebrities' is dutifully reported by the media, but only if it's the right sort. Celebrity Roger Waters has signalled that, according to his values, he won't support Israeli entities because of human rights issues in Palestine. Waters' virtuous words, unlike Clooney's, are ignored by the BBC and rest of the mainstream media.
