I'm not on any 'war-path' and don't see why you might suggest that I might be.
As far as the woman is concerned it's a difficult call and those best placed to make it should be the social services taking into account of the law and the interest of all parties. Being best placed is no guarantee the right decision will be reached, of course.
Not sure what the logic is that you refer to but the judge surely did express an attitude as his view seems to contravene the law. He also seems to misunderstand the concept of human rights. As a man can always divorce his wife, there can be no (even conceivable) 'right' to force her to have sex with him.
I guess there is an element of stupidity in Hayden's remarks but I think in a judge these attitudes are better out than in when they are held.
