Irrelevant, M, in the sense that they have literally zero connection to what's really happening - Archived Message

what I usually shorthand as the Synergising Global Crises and the Long Descent. Those are the forces which will shape our overall future, and are in fact having their early effects right now. Regarding those - non-dodgeable, non-negotiable - forces, announcing tinseloid-sleb 'special envoys' - with zero actually-applicable special knowledge, skills or experience - couldn't be more empty, futile gestures. Sure, they'll be used to promote the current delusional neo-lib/con lunacies of the fading West: in plain terms, screwing money out of everything and everyone, to feed it to the hyper-rich pointless parasites of the five-percent (Michael Hudson's estimate). And along the way, grieving publicly for selected, propagandistically-useful Worthy Victims, whilst ignoring the Unworthy ones like Julian. But since these doctrines are wholly irrelevant to what's really happening and what needs to be done, the sleb figureheads will prove equally so. The scripts that they'll be handed to prattle out by their deep-state keepers don't match with the changed world we face now, after aggregate global growthforever has died. Died for ever, that is. Taking copper as just one very typical essential commodity for modern hitech industrial economies: once all the thermodynamically/energetically-realistic stocks have been mined, refined and used (and inevitably dissipated, even after the repeated recycling that never captures quite as much as the original stock) that's the permanent end. Rinse and repeat with a whole list of other vital, but non-renewable - and not practically substitutable - essential resources of industrialism; particularly the still wholly-unsubstitutable fossil-hydrocarbon fuels . I can't imagine either Clooney - or any of their pointless ilk - having what it takes to make any (actually realworld) useful input to these desperate conundra. (Get the grammatically correct plural, eh? ) They function strictly as sleb-shills for the current - doomed - status quo. Hence the high, respectful profiles given to them by Western lamestream mediaw hores, who also take the same five-percenters' shilling, of course. In that respect I agree that they'll prove relevant and useful to their keepers' aims, fatuous, short-term and ultimately transient as they are. But who would relish such relevance? Cheers M!
