Hi sue, I'd be careful about declaring board views as though we're all one big homogenous group. Broadly similar ideas, a lot of common ground but just because a post finds opposition it doesn't automatically mean everyone is in agreement with the loudest if they don't say otherwise. It might mean (like for me) others either haven't made up their minds or don't wish to wade in for one reason or another. As with either of these two examples (both of which I read about here for an impression), I've got no solid opinion. On the former, my only argument would be that setting a precedent to make individuals stateless is s terrible thing, both as a one off and as a precedent. Principles shouldn't be like a restaurant menu. Past that I can't comment, and won't. Cheers
