Thanks for clarifying, I can go along with that pragmatic view even though I don't find the evidence of 'astroturfing' persuasive at this point. History is full of people doing good things for apparently noble motives that turn out to be less wholesome upon further investigation, so it might be worth offering support even if not wholeheartedly. For me the trumpeting of XR in certain corners of the corporate media is cause for concern. But then they did the same with Assange and Wikileaks before turning on him/them once they'd wrung enough clickbait out of their work. In any case maybe I could ask you to reign in your (justifiable) cynicism until something more conclusive than 'one of the founders worked for these NGOs and was even invited to 10 downing at one time!' comes along? cheers, I
