Well, just trying to answer what I think your thesis seems to be.. "I had this idea that the victims of MeToo are unlikely to engage in wider issues of injustices other than the feminists issues, so I would like to be put right on that." Women of all social groups are sexually assaulted. As this includes left wing or 'progressive' women, it's an obvious place to examine your idea - unless they then change their politics, your idea is presumably refuted. Though it won't be hard and fast, as victims can become reclusive hence less visible. (And if you also mean MeToo supporters, see down below) But if your theory is that (i) perpetrators tend to be right wing or that (ii) supporters of MeToo tend not to be left wing, I think it's for you to substantiate that. But as you've asked me, I'll give a view. Regarding the first, we've had many discussions here that arose from the claim that the real underlying problem was social class injustice. If the perpetrators tended to be right wing, presumably financially successful men then these two ideas would be contradictory. Though I'd say neither is true - sexual assault and it's support culture are prevalent in most social classes and scenes. Regarding (ii),though there is a vocal middle class component of MeToo I also think the radical feminists among MeToo will be mostly left wing; the whole thing about women's rights, including reproductive rights and associated employment rights etc doesn't (IMO) fit too well with traditional conservative, often religious so-called 'family values'. I won't be 'putting you right' on it. I'm not well up on gender politics, and hence not the best person to ask; but that's what I think - neither gender oppression nor opposition to gender oppression are strongly class based. Cheers
