Let's see now, why might RT be 'over-engaged' with the coup attempt in Venezuela? Could it be that the US, supposedly a western good guy that thinks democracy is a good thing, has sought to overthrow an elected government and replace the Venezuelan President with a US selected appointee who has no democratic legitimacy as President whatsoever in the interests of the US oil industry? Isn't that newsworthy? Shouldn't it have led organisations like the BBC to question what western and democratic values the US is upholding if it was, like, an impartial and independent news agency?
