Writing it off only because it's in wikipedia isn't much of an argument - look at the sources they give and judge them if anything. I also default to distrusting wikipedia when its articles are on controversial political topics - the moon landing being real is pretty uncontroversial in comparison imv. Outside of overtly political topics that people like philip cross inhabit (eg in most areas of science) wikipedia is still an excellent resource, which i'm personally (and professionally) glad exists. This was on telly the other day - it covers a lot of the conspiracies i'd read about years ago (flag waving in the breeze, van allen belts, backlighting etc). In just the same way as i'm not going to believe something just because i'm told it by authority, i'm not going to believe it just because they deny it either. https://vimeo.com/57839418
