The Community Security Trust's website gives a further breakdown of these stats - a high percentage of the total figure comes from supposed anti-semitism encountered on social media where, as we all know, anybody can pretend to be anybody, the Queen of Sheba or a member of the Labour party. All such statistics, whatever their source, depend on the honesty and integrity of those reporting so-called hate crimes. There is no doubt anti-semitism has been weaponised as an effective way of attacking and ultimately removing Jeremy Corbyn so it's reasonable to assume that some of these reports to organisations like the CST are part of the anti-Corbyn campaign. |
