"You have to be very cynical indeed to suggest that a Jewish organisation would deliberately stir up anti-Semitism to reinforce their point; but I don't know, the world is so corrupt, it might be just be possible" I dont think so. To me it seems merely logical rather than cynical. Its not just that accusations of antisemitism allow it to blacken its opponents but Israel is desperate for Jewish migration. Any Jewish organisation allied or sympathetic to the Israeli state and its aims (such as conflating Judaism with the state of Israel) will see it as its duty to exaggerate antisemitic incidents or indeed encourage antisemitism because its in Israel's interest. |
