It's the logic of Zionism - both in its Christian and 'Jewish' variants. Christian antisemites 'other' Jews; 'Jewish' Zionists agree to be 'othered', which they use to justify a state in which their 'otherness' can be geographically embodied. To be antiracist is to refuse 'othering'. To be anti-Zionist is to refuse the 'othering' of Jewish people. To be anti-Zionist is to refuse the 'othering' of Palestians. |
