NYT printed two days before Wikileaks... why aren't any of their editors charged by the US? Journalists hold a talk in Sydney, as reported by University of Sydney academic, Flick Ruby

@AssangeMrs -- Australian veteran journalists Mary Kostakudis & Mark Davis challenge media smear on fellow Australian journalist Julian Assange ... with facts.
Mark Davis was there WITH Julian [in London] while he was processing @Wikileaks war docs
from @FlickRubicon --- (PhD candidate at University of Sydney)
Now Mark Davis is up next - he was there when Julian Assange met Guardian journalists and when the [Guardian] bunker was established.
Mark witnessed the dynamic and can testify that the Guardian journos' accounts in books and on [ABC documentary] "4 Corners" - about their integrity and his lack thereof - to be utter bollocks
Mark was there, in the bunker, every day, when the 2010 [documents] were being worked on, any allegations of Julian being cavalier about human life [is] utter utter bollocks. Mark emphasises this because of how repeated this allegation is.
We are seeing footage of [Guardian Deputy Editor] David Leigh and [Guardian journalist] Nick Davies with Julian. Mark explains these are the people who brought the material to life - together. If Julian Assange is in jail, they should be in jail too.
The Guardian made the material searchable, the NYT were coming in regularly on the phone, Der Spiegel were there too.
We are seeing footage of Julian with dear Gavin McFaddyen which is heartbreaking. Julian looks so young and healthy and Gavin is gone [RIP].
The footage is showing Julian explaining how the New York Times wanted to be scooped to cover their arses. Mark Davies reveals his eyewitness to Julian asking to the delay in publication to double check the redaction of any names.
All these people who claim to be oh so concerned all went home and Julian worked all night to remove 10,000 names. Himself. Julian Assange, not any Guardian bozo who has been dining out on this ever ####ing since, pardon my french
Julian was the man who walked the plank, and these reporters would report him walking the plank, says Mark Davis. The docs were to go live at 9 but tech problems caused a delay. The NYT was hysterical. They went to print 2 days BEFORE Wikileaks went live. But Assange pays the price.
The recurring slander that #Assange was cavalier with lives - as repeated on "4 Corners" - compels Mark to correct the record
