"But I don't believe in the dualistic split between 'soul' and body, 'God' and world and so on."
Who said anything about a 'split'? It's more to do with 'where the heart is.' This is the meaning of 'lose the self to gain the self.' We are too attached, too afraid of letting go, too concerned with results and outcomes. It is this tendency that Jesus addresses when he says, "Ye of little faith." It is when we are too focused on our body, our self (and its interests),the world . . . that we become split from our soul and from God. It is when we seek our soul and God that we become truly integrated in our bodies and with the world.
"I don't accept the illusion that I can transcend body and world."
Gasp! Are you saying you don't believe in love? I doubt you really mean that.
