This Brexit debacle seems to be a cause of serious political insanity, including on these pages. My admiration for Corbyn grows as those who should be supporting him instead put the boot in.
There's no solution to the Brexit crisis for the UK other than some sort of agreed compromise - that the two sides instead of retreating behind their barricades constructed by political dogma meet somewhere in the middle, call a truce and decide to give a bit and take a bit in the interests of the public they are supposed to be serving. . Just as Corbyn was talking to the IRA on exactly the same principles, and getting lambasted for doing so, he's dealing with this constitutional warfare in the same way - being moderate, considered and dare I say it, statesmanlike; and getting lambasted again - this time by the likes of psingh - for his troubles.
Maybe, just maybe, stopping a precipitate exit from the EU is exactly that, a policy to protect the many, not just benefit the few.
