The trouble is such cynicism just leads to the "I told you so syndrome" where those who did not work for change can happily externalise all their inner conflicts and blame everyone but themselves when things don't..this is not "part of the solution"..no system is perfect and the alternative, if one follows such fundamentalists, is Khaos, Khoas during which the vulnerable suffer even more and the totalitarianism one so wishes to avoid is then reinforced because the "I told you so" conch has been passed back to the oppressor..... It's a safe, cozy ivory tower one lives in when all is unsatisfactory but one is never the cause..
