Either he's a fool, or its basically impossible in the Bolivian context to ever have a loyal military and this was always coming down the pipe. But I can't see why it should be so different from venezuela. Obviously, winning an election several times in a row spells big trouble for a socialist. Because before much longer the other side are drained of enough resources to ever overthrow him. Its the most dangerous time, the other side is forced to act. It may seem as if the socialist revolution was just a hairs breadth from systemic change, but in reality if you can't beat the other side when they get really desperate, then you've basically won nothing. It will all be reversed. Then the idiot resigns! To prevent more violence (?!) like Yanukovich never existed! Like a show of weakness works every time? Its an absolute red rag. All I can say is...
