It would have crucified the tories if the true facts had emerged Archived Message

In actual fact the true facts did emerge but the corporate media ignored them, and Labour didn't make anything of the opportunity (surprise surprise). This is a letter I wrote to the local paper (in the north west) which published it, but there was no reaction. ************************* The younger brother of the Manchester Arena bomber has appeared in court charged with murdering the 22 victims and injuring hundreds more. In her final major speech as prime minister, Theresa May said: "This is clearly an important moment in the investigation. I hope it is a welcome step for the loved ones of all the victims.” The Abedi family emigrated to Britain during the rule of late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, moving from London to the Fallowfield area of Manchester. Both the Arena suicide bomber, Salman Abedi, and his father Ramadan were members of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, which was opposed to Gaddafi and affiliated with terrorist organisation ISIS. Along with scores more (maybe as many as a hundred) they were recruited by MI5 and MI6 which operated an Open Door policy that allowed Libyan exiles living in the UK to travel freely to Libya and back again — as part of an anti-Gaddafi rebellion — aided and equipped and funded by our security services. In charge of the security services at the time was home secretary Theresa May. Under her watch these Manchester-based Libyan Jihadists were able to travel back and forth with “no questions asked.” And now, unbelievably, she has the nerve and the brass neck to hope that this court case is “a welcome step for the loved ones of all the victims.” No one thought to ask the prime minister about her policy when she was home secretary and in charge of the security services. If I was one of those bereaved loved ones, still grieving over my loss, I would be asking that question now, and another very pertinent one. Why did you help them, Mrs May?
