My one-sided argument, as you puy it, happens to be the one sided with rational science, to argue the "other side" is to deny it. What's the matter with you all? That's 50 dead children in this small society, who have enough on their plate with their grinding poverty and recent earthquakes, don't they matter to you? I used the term miscreants to describe well-off people with a bee in their bonnet persuading others to abandon their children to a nasty and sometimes fatal disease. I think miscreant is mild in the circumstances. I really am very angry with you all. You just don't get it. How many dead children does it take to get you to see reality? As for the two dead babies. Yes - that did put doubt into Somoan parents' minds, as you will know if you read the article I referred you to. Except of course, the reason they died, poorly explained in this article, I admit, was that the nurses carelessly mixed the measles vaccine vials with muscle relaxant. Absolutely nothing to do with the vaccine itself. They pleaded guilty to manslaughter and were sentenced to five years in prison. What is unconscionable is that these two deaths were then used by anti-vax zealots to make their peverted case more potent.
