Cyprus and Greece in the latter period have moved away from their long held traditional support for the Palestinians, and with US encouragement, have cosied up to Israel. The reason seems to be as a security measure against Turkey, especially as the EU has proved useless in deterring Turkish aggression; things are coming to a head as Turkish oil exploration ships, accompanied by war ships, are provokingly working in Cypriot Territorial Waters. So there's probably a lot of direct/indirect pressure on this case because of new relationship with Israel, and maybe something even more corrupting, as also in the News is that an Israeli spying team were recently caught operating in Cyprus against Cypriot nationals; enough to make you wonder if the Judge or others in this case have been "Epsteined".
