Jo Coburn will be next , she was quite impartial during the election on politics live (.... unless my irony detector is on the blink) Most of the comments (not all) relating to the axing of the VD show don't really rate her or it as a cutting edge "truth to power" journalism. The twitter clip posted here is a rather bland one of Stanley Johnson calling the British public illiterate -- as if that somehow reflected badly on Johnson Jnr. We already know the Johnsons are upper-class twits and twats, no secret there, because they don't try to hide it. Seems the public prefer an Old Etonian adulterous liar and buffoon to a person of integrity who speaks the truth. Bugger all we can do about that. |
