Rhisiart. If like me you are elderly, following recent treatment for a chest infection and with restricted breathing due to a paralysed vocal cord across my airway (following thyroid cancer surgery which took away the laryngeal nerve involved in the tumour), you would probably be rather anxious. I am otherwise fit and active but am avoiding crowded places currently. I trust that when the better weather comes, the virus will be knocked out but I have no great trust in the ability of the current Tory version of OUR NHS to deal with it. Johnson only produces bluff and bluster. My brother who worked in it for 40 years says the mantra is Demoralise, Destablise, Dismantle. I worked in it in the 80s. In Devon, 9 community hospitals were closed without any prior consultation. In those there were beds where GPs could treat their patients. A&E provision has gone too so that patients needing treatment have to travel 55 miles across Dartmoor to access facilities at Derriford or the Royal Devon and Exeter hospitals. I expect you heard that Tory donors were shelling out multiple thousands at their recent gathering, the Winter Ball aka The Black and White Ball in May's time, including 40k to play tennis with Johnson. Why do the gangsters in charge play tennis? I seem to remember that BLiar played it with Levy.
