Your insiders' reportage on how our NHS was - and is - constantly attacked by the irreconcilable enemies of non-commercial public services rings entirely true. I've been watching it from the outside myself, since the NHS's very inception. The over-rich toffs always detested any suggestion of tax-financed public services. They've been chipping away at the NHS any time an opportunity offered, from the first. Their aim has always been to destroy whatever can't be turned into a money-grubbing racket, US style. Your and your brother's doleful experience are completely unsurprising. |
