I concur with Cockney Mystic and ceemac666. PS Derek Lane. Mine was not a 'rant about hypocrisy'. It was a statement that the 'Clap for the Carers (most probably a Cummings/Levido initiative) was hypocritical in view of the Tory plan to demolish OUR NHS. That goes back as far as Thatcher and Professor Enthoven of Kaiser Permanente infamy. Kaiser is a giant US 'healthcare insurance' set up. Look it up. Redwood and Letwin (both recently in the HoC) wrote of their plans. https://www.cps.org.uk/files/reports/original/111027171245-BritainsBiggestEnterprise1988.pdf I never knew they worked for Rothschilds. 'It is worth noting that, around this time, Letwin and Redwood headed NM Rothschild bank’s international privatisation unit and that Letwin had published a book called Privatising the World with a foreword by Redwood. (Just in case you’re in any doubt as to the intentions of this dastardly duo and the Tories more generally towards the NHS, as some media commentators seem to be)' https://medium.com/@youssefelgingihy/was-john-redwood-knighted-for-his-services-in-the-dismantling-of-the-nhs-bfeb77167278 Not long ago, the Rt Hon Jeremy Richard Streynsham Hunt, then SoS H&SC, took teams from 13 trusts over to the US to see Kaiser Permanente in action. Below here - An accurate account of his appalling record under Cameron and May. 'What did Hunt do to the NHS – and how has he got away with it? There are two stories about Jeremy Hunt. The nice, sensible guy whose only mistake was upsetting the junior doctors. And then, there’s the real story.' https://www.cps.org.uk/files/reports/original/111027171245-BritainsBiggestEnterprise1988.pdf
