Thanks Cobett, v. informative. We use zoom for XR meetings, and I've noticed there's a record button which I'm presuming anybody can press without people being informed. The fact they use video to target advertising indicates this recording is already being done by 3rd parties, unbeknownst to a majority of their users.

and I haven't heard of any other platforms even making claims of robust security & privacy measures. Really clear at this point that nothing is secure on the internet, phones or other devices. We just have the vanishingly small public spaces which have a chance of going unrecorded by the ptb, especially with everyone being quarantined and dependent on IT for human connection.
