I mean that a lot of the men who commit mass murders are abusers of their partners and families. So it's an important warning sign. And we are too ready to regard the abuse as a family problem as long as it isn't obviously spilling out of the home. But it is spilling out, at the minimum in the long term affects of the trauma on the children involved. I am not yet convinced that he specifically targeted women. But he did express his frustrations, disappointments and losses in violence and destruction. |
