There's no doubt in my mind that UK ICU was not overwhelmed where Lombardy with twice as many ICU beds was - because we have left people at home. Yes, the empty Nightingale hospitals are proof of that https://www.rt.com/op-ed/487823-nhs-covid-19-hospitals-no-need/ It's an absolute disgrace. Especially as we've always been told (even on TLN) that the lockdown is to keep to NHS from being overwhelmed.
