| An anecdote. I was seen by a young houseman in Orthopaedics following two wrist fractures (one of which required surgery) and I have to thank him for spotting osteoporosis. He sent me for a DEXA scan and thinning of lower spinal and some large bones was revealed. I was prescribed a course of Adcal + Vit D3 tablets and am fine now. |
