The DEC appeal for Gaza was in response to the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza and the destruction of their homes in January 2009 at Hannukah and given the name'Cast Lead'. It was so sweetly named after the name of a children's spinning toy which is given to Jewish children to play with at Hannukah.
