The two state solution is dead, leftist meme or not. And, admittedly, so is an inclusivist one state solution, in the short and medium term at least. Why speak of such things as if they're established facts instead of what they are: highly conjectural, subjective and contingent political judgements? It's a terrible thing to be wrong about, particularly for people like us in the western states most complicit in this ongoing genocide. It is Palestinians who will pay the price for our fact-free certainty on this matter if we turn out to be wrong, something that never seems to occur to purveyors of the one-state dogma. I've been in this debate many times and have yet to see any compelling arguments - I don't see any in your post - except from people like Finkelstein who rejects that dogma: |
